Offering in-person sessions in Okotoks, Alberta beginning March 3, 2025.
I am always happy to offer Virtual counselling sessions. I aim to make my sessions accessible and affordable.
We all have rich lived experiences that help us to change and grow over time. Sometimes we just need a little help to see what is possible beyond what is happening in the here and now.
I have lived most of my life on Vancouver Island, but I have Alberta roots, and Yukon stories to tell. Most of all, I have adopted a philosophy that change can be a challenge or an opportunity. What is your "change"?
I offer one-on-one counselling, couple, or family group sessions, either in person or online*. My areas of practice include relationship development and strengthening, recovery from grief and loss, and personal development. I am a member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada.
as a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor-candidate.

I have spent most of my working life in the field of education (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Master of Arts), drawn towards helping people (colleagues, students, peers and other professionals) realize their potential.
My passion for counselling is to work with you on your journey to rediscover your relationship with yourself, your partner, or your family as a relationship and intimacy counsellor. I also work with individuals experiencing loss and grief, helping to navigate through life's challenges.
I believe in a person-centered philosophy allowing me to provide a holistic approach to supporting change and opening the heart to a more satisfying, peaceful life.
I have over 20 years experience in Education, including working with students with diverse learning needs. I loved working with students, peer education professionals, and families, but I began to realize that mental health and emotional wellbeing was increasingly impactful on how well students, peers, and families were able to show up for each other in healthy ways.
I believe a strong counselling relationship can make the difference. I know this to be true in my own life experiences: through loss and grief, through relationship changes, through loving someone even while they were gripped in a spiral of addiction. Mental health and emotional wellbeing are so critical, and I am passionate about supporting healthy change. Truly.
Am I the "right fit" for you?
I commit to meeting you where you are at, listening carefully and honestly, working with you, and even referring you to other or additional resources when it is in your best interest. I chose my banner saying with care, "Working with you, for you". Take the step. I am here to help.
